about

“I know we came to dance / This night could be my last”

The rush of adrenaline in uncertainty; the knowing that an adventure awaits and is nagging in the pits of your soul...MOVE ME is the story of the person you lose at parties, carried on the wind time and time again in the pursuit of ‘something’, but lost in the lights and the hype.

“This is nothing new / Just can’t learn my lesson”

MOVE ME, in all of the infectious bass and bright synths, illustrates the desire to break free and chase desire in the grips of “the groove”. We are all one decision away from a completely new adventure, but under the flashing lights it’s hard to know which way is up.

Sometimes the only thing it seems you can do ... is move.

lyrics

Could somebody move me in the right direction?
The flash of the lights is leaving me blind and I
Keep slipping away
The rhythm it calls my name
But I won’t listen
My heart’s out of time
Running at a thousand miles
I need to escape

I can’t get away from this melody
I’m never myself when it’s this heavy

Please don’t get the wrong idea, love
I only came to dance (you see…)
But my heart has other plans (for me…)
This night could be our last
Please don’t think I’m insincere, love
I know we came to dance (you see…)
But my heart has other plans (for me…)
This night could be my last

Could somebody move me in the right direction?
The pull of the groove is drawing me close to you
I’m not thinking straight
This is nothing new, just can’t learn my lesson
A million times, you say something wild and I
I’m back here again
